Nassau County, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information on Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) 12089C0335F, an area generally bounded by State Road 200 to the North, Edwards Road to the east and Police Lodge Road to the south and west. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 23-04-0435R for the LMC Emblem at Tributary development. Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request will be submitted that will, in part, revise the flood hazards for the existing 1% annual chance floodplain. As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and/or decrease or be established within the area of revision.
